The End Slavery in Minnesota coalition is a solidarity network of businesses, nonprofits, and organizations throughout the state committed to ending prison slavery in Minnesota.

Committees

Our work is driven by community members and organizational leaders across a variety of committees. Learn more below and join a group that aligns with your interests. Calendar includes meeting info.

Outreach Committee

This committee finds and builds in new members and meets Wednesdays at 6pm.

Legislative Committee

This committee coordinates lobbying work at the state capitol and meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 4pm.

Labor Committee

This committee assembles labor and unions to build power, and meets every other Tuesday at 4pm.

Health, Recovery & Reentry Committee

This committee works with health, recovery and reentry communities to build power and support and meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday 3:30pm.

Faith Committee

This committee works with congregations to grow movement and meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at 6pm.

Operations Committee

This committee makes sure all our systems are working well and meets the Wednesdays at 4pm.

K-12 Committee

This committee works with educators and youth to build power and meets the 2nd Tuesday at 5:30pm.

Higher Education Committee

This committee works across campuses to build engagement and power, and meets Sundays at 3:30pm.
